Colorado Lacrosse League (CLL)
Meeting Agenda 1/23/07
1) Greetings/Introductions
All in attendance introduced themselves. Guests to the meeting were Heather Faircloth of the Colorado Lacrosse Foundation, Jeff with Breakaway sports and Arapahoe's current head coach, and referee/officials representatives Lloyd & Rhonda Cisneros and Jim Read.
Heather presented information regarding the CLF and invited anyone who would like to attend the monthly meetings to come, meetings are held on the 1 st Thursday of every month at 7pm at DU. The CLF has been working with the Mammoth and Outlaws to help with coaches and players clinics. The CLF is also helping with a referee training to be held at Invesco field with a tentative date of 2/23 & 2/24, more information regarding this will be released at a later time, coaches and admins are encouraged to attend. The CLF also has a website at colax.org with sponsorship/grant forms as well as the ability to post up your information about clinics or events.
Jeff introduced himself and encouraged the group to contact Breakaway Sports for their lacrosse needs or bids, Jeff also asked if anyone had questions about equipment.
The referee representatives talked about the upcoming season and the training dates at Invesco field. There was also discussion about forming a disciplinary committee. Referees used are supposed to be at least two years older than the groups that they are refereeing games for, the absolute minimum for refs is 14.

The CJLA turned down our proposal for the merger for this year, a response letter has not been received yet but the possibility of working together for a merger for next year is positive. It should be noted that the CLL does not have any rules that would discourage or prohibit league teams from scrimmaging CJLA teams.
5) New Business (please bring your ideas to the table!!)
Jody Koch spoke a little concerning the NDP whose contact is Josh Gross, jgross@pepsicenter.com and the Colorado Cup.
