The mission of the Colorado Lacrosse Foundation is to grow and support the sport of lacrosse in Colorado. As the state chapter of US Lacrosse, there are 1-2 volunteer representatives from every constituency group on the Board of Directors. Each year, the Foundation runs clinics for beginners, makes grants to new and traveling teams, awards college scholarships and hosts the Annual Colorado Lacrosse Banquet.
One of the many things we are proud of doing in 2005 is making a $2500 grant to a local Indian Reservation to off set the costs of uniforms and equipment in order to start a Lacrosse team for their young athletes. The team is known as “Native Lacrosse.”
This year's Banquet, “The Colorado Lacrosse Foundation Celebration” will be held Friday, September 23 rd at The Cable Center. There will be a Celebrity Pro/Am game and a Beer & Wings Dinner to follow. All proceeds from the event and the Silent Auction will go to the Colorado Lacrosse Foundation,
